Unworldly country girl Reinette (Joëlle Miquel) stays in Paris with her new city friend Mirabelle (Jessica Forde), and together the duo experience assorted encounters and mishaps. Made for fun on a break from the shooting of The Green Ray, its playful and gossamer light scenario is drawn from personal anecdotes recounted to Rohmer by Miquel.
