An eccentric jazz score by Piero Umiliani and dazzling cinematography are among the pleasures of this desert island giallo, wherein five associates travel to a remote Mediterranean locale owned by a wealthy industrialist who plots to obtain a secret formula from chemist Farrell (William Berger). Yet as all of the guests compete for the valuable information, they find themselves trapped with a murderer in their midst.
