This ’70s riff on one of Hollywood’s favorite tales moves the action to the music biz: Kris Kristofferson is the drug-addled rock legend who falls for fresh-faced singer Streisand, only to have her stardom eclipse his own. The real star here is Barbra’s “Evergreen” (with lyrics by Paul Williams), the Oscar-winner for Best Original Song.
