In this surprisingly touching farce, self-made businessman Dangerfield enrolls with underachieving son Keith Gordon to get the college experience he never had while attempting to win over comely lecturer Sally Kellerman. Chock full of one-liners and character actors (Burt Young, Ned Beatty, a young Robert Downey, Jr. as his son’s punk roommate), plus the infamous Kurt Vonnegut cameo.
