Screened October 26, 2018–January 31, 2019, 2019

Inspired by a Haruki Murakami short story, this haunting film from leading South Korean director Lee Chang-dong (Secret Sunshine) is both an unbearably tense study of class conflict in the modern world and an ingeniously crafted thriller. When an aspiring writer (Yoo Ah-in) is reacquainted with a childhood friend (Jun Jong-seo), he agrees to apartment-sit for her; but when she returns from Africa with a mysteriously wealthy new partner (Steven Yeun of The Walking Dead), he begins to question the fabric of their relationship.
