Bodies both living and dead are treated with lurid 3-D abandon in Paul Morrissey’s Cinecitta Studios-lensed mash-up of zombies, hookers, and master-race-building, with latter-day Baron Frankenstein Udo Kier transplanting heads and bodies (with special effects by Carlo Rambaldi). The louche-’70s vibe is further stoked by the presence of Joe Dallesandro, Dalila Di Lazzaro, and Monique van Vooren as the Baroness.
