There doesn’t seem to be anyone around… except Del (Peter Dinklage), survivor of a mysterious apocalypse, who decides to make the most of his newfound solitude. That is, until he runs into Grace (Elle Fanning), a bubbly teenager who all but upends his solemn routine. This somber but touching two-hander from director Reed Morano (The Handmaid’s Tale)—who also serves as her own cinematographer—is a visually striking portrait of loss transcended through an unlikely friendship.
