Sixteen-year-old Claude (Ernst Unhauer) ingratiates himself with the family of a classmate (Bastien Ughetto), writing essays about them for his literature class that perversely blur the lines between reality and fiction. His work impresses his teacher (Fabrice Luchini) but the boy’s intrusion sparks a series of uncontrollable events. With Kristin Scott-Thomas and Emmanuelle Seigner as Ughetto’s mom, Claude’s object of desire.
