A strong debut from up-and-coming Ecuadorian director Gabriela Calvache, this riveting thriller presents an unflinching look into the bleak world of prostitution in South America. Successful high-class escort Dana (Noëlle Schöenfeld) takes on the local human trafficking ring. Unable to hand over the usual cut of her monthly earnings to the crime boss, Dana takes matters into her own hands; seeking justice and reclaiming autonomy for herself and her ailing daughter.
