A company of Spanish filmmakers leaves Franco’s Spain and moves to Hitler’s Germany to make a film in co-production. At first relieved to be away from war-torn Spain, both personal and production-related problems arise plaguing their shooting schedule, including the film team’s star Macarena (Penélope Cruz) catching the eye of Goebbels.
