A boogeyman with an insatiable appetite for little boys haunts a small town not far from the sea, around the turn of the 20th century. A newly arrived stranger is the prime suspect—if the killer even exists… This elegiac exercise in horror mixes the panache of Dario Argento with the elegance of Terence Fisher.
