Shelia (Marin Ireland), a single mom with a history of personal paranormal experience receives a message about a recent widower Richard (Jim Gaffigan) whose Tennessee farmhouse may be haunted. With her teen son and his classmate crush in tow, she sets off to investigate. Shelia and Richard, both equally skeptical, are prepared for an earthly explanation for the supernatural phenomena, but not the human connection that they forge. A poignant and understated exploration of the uncertain terrains of intimacy and the otherworldly with standout performances from Ireland and an against-type Gaffigan.
