A critically-lauded adaptation of Michel Marc Bouchard’s Les Feluettes, Lilies is an emotionally intense, suspense-laden tale of love, betrayal, and revenge in which one man’s past comes back to haunt him. Set in a Quebec prison in 1952, local bishop Jean Bilodeau (Marcel Sabourin) is brought in to hear the confession of a dying inmate, who in turn has a revelation for the bishop. The two were childhood friends and the prisoner has now enlisted fellow inmates to stage a play of events from forty years before.
