Showtimes & Tickets

Screened July 22–28, 2022

Living Wine follows the journeys of natural winemakers in Northern California, during the largest wildfire season on record. Equal parts farmer, winemaker, and artist, they stay true to their ideals by creating wines made through innovative sustainable, regenerative farming and without chemical additives. Eschewing the industrial agricultural practices of the corporate wine industry — our winemakers are healing the very environment they are surviving, i.e. a changing climate marked by rising temperatures, shorter growing seasons, and more frequent and virulent wildfires. An Abramorama release

In partnership with ZRS Wines, the Quad will be pouring samples following the 5:40 PM & 7:40 PM showings on Fri 7/22 & Sat 7/23 in the Quad Bar for Living Wine ticket holders and while supplies last.

A film by Lori Miller

Transcends the Clichés… The focus here is farming, culture, the environment, climate change and, yes, great-tasting wine.”

Eric Asimov, The New York Times

What the film offers in the end is not a formula for the good life, a cliché of California wine country, but a way of living well.”
