This heartfelt documentary looks back at the tragically brief but deeply rich life of actor Anton Yelchin, who was killed in a freak accident in 2016 when he was just 27.  Best-known for playing Chekov in the rebooted Star Trek films, Yelchin had an amazingly prolific career, imbuing each of his roles with his characteristic quiet intensity and undeniable charisma—all the while dealing with a dangerous health condition that few people knew about.

Co-produced by Drake Doremus, who directed Yelchin in Like Crazy, Love Antosha features moving personal anecdotes from friends, directors and fellow actors including Kristen Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence, and Chris Pine—and most importantly, from his devoted parents. Aided by Yelchin’s own journals, home movies, photographs, artwork, and music, the film offers an intimate portrait of an indefatigable young artist who clearly still had so much more to offer.
