In an occult tale from veteran B-movie multi-hyphenate Gordon, fair Lilith welcomes L.A. transplants Michael Ontkean (pre-Twin Peaks) and Pamela Franklin (post-The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie); the latter is coveted by the town’s leading citizen Welles, intent on schooling her in the dark arts of witchcraft. The first feature as costume designer for Bernie Pollack, whose later credits included several of his brother Sydney’s films; Franklin fell in love with, and married, costar Harvey Jason.
