Neither star George Lazenby nor director Peter Hunt were re-upped, but O.H.M.S.S. is now regarded as one of the 007 franchise’s highlights in no small part thanks to former franchise editor and 2nd-unit director Hunt’s dynamic handling, which features abundant ski slope action. The setting is an alpine research institute where Telly Savalas’ Blofeld grooms a delectable dozen (including Ab-Fab’s Joanna Lumley) as unwitting biological-warfare delivery systems.
