Written by Kemp Powers and based on his play of the same name, One Night in Miami is a fictional account of an extended evening with four important men. On the night of Feb. 25, 1964, in Miami, Cassius Clay (Eli Goree) joins Jim Brown (Aldis Hodge), Sam Cooke (Leslie Odom Jr.), and Malcolm X (Kingsley Ben-Adir), and they discuss the responsibility of being successful black men during the civil rights movement.
