The leading lady and the only person onscreen gets credited as Mazda Isphahan, but is in fact It Girl Edie Sedgwick, then 22 years old, filmed in her apartment mere weeks after her becoming a fixture at Warhol’s Factory. This unrelenting portrait affords a chaotic at-home-with intimacy, as the footage records the self-conscious personality of the young socialite who would be gone just a few years later, after her tumultuous 15 minutes in New York City as a model and actress.
