LGBTQIA+ icons Gina Gershon (Bound, Showgirls) — also producing and doing her own singing here — and Lori Petty (Tank Girl, A League of Their Own) team up with Drea de Matteo (The Sopranos) and Shelly Cole (Gilmore Girls) as L.A. punk-rockers whose ride-or-die band accelerates towards a flashpoint in the 1980s. The music is by Hedwig and the Angry Inch composer Stephen Trask with original songs written by co-screenwriter Cheri Lovedog, who mined her real-life ‘80s history first for a stage musical and then for a movie.
