“This film is not intended as a definitive statement on feminism…but rather a documentary exploring the experiences, feelings and philosophies of some American feminists,” reads the onscreen introduction. Made in NYC in 1975-76—with field-trip footage incorporated—by a nearly all-female crew, it presents interviews with Ti-Grace Atkinson, Rita Mae Brown, Betty Friedan, Margo Jefferson, Lila Karp, and Kate Millett.
