Even by Wertmüller’s standards this title offers up a particularly impressive menu of sexual perversities, from voyeurism to bondage, plus a severed finger. A Valentino-clad Mariangela Melato plays an especially entitled aristocrat who holds infamous kidnapper Michele Placido hostage for ransom—and animalistic fun—in her gothic palace in remote Sardinia.
