Before she became the flamboyant face of the Jazz Age, actress Louise Brooks (Haley Lu Richardson) was a precocious student in Wichita with dreams of stardom. But when she gets the chance to go to New York to study with a dance troupe, demure society lady Norma (Elizabeth McGovern) insists on accompanying her. Though they differ in temperament, Norma has a mission of her own: to seek her birth mother, and to pave her own path into women’s liberation. A PBS Films Distribution release
Written by Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes and co-starring Campbell Scott, Blythe Danner, and Miranda Otto.
