Art professor/professional mountain climber/ex-assassin Clint Eastwood is forced to take on one last job—joining a team of mountaineers tackling the treacherous north face of the Eiger in Switzerland and take out (or “sanction”) a target of unknown identity. Insisting on absolute realism in the nail-biting mountaineering scenes, Eastwood risked life and limb by doing his own stunts.
