Chicago strippers are being murdered, and P.I. Frank Kress exploits reporter Amy Farrell to draw out the killer. Exploitation pioneer Lewis capped a decade of freewheeling splatter (Blood Feast) and titillation (Goldilocks and the Three Bares) by surprisingly submitting this to the MPAA, which duly rated it X; the producer/director doubled down to offer that “no one under 17 will be admitted unless parents accept responsibility.” With Henny Youngman— without wife or violin —as a club owner.
