In this silent melodrama, a gondolier (George Beban) emigrates to America to prove his worth to his fiancé’s family, but tragedy ensues shortly after his wife and child arrive. Written and produced by Hollywood studio pioneer Thomas Ince, this silent melodrama takes a decidedly grim perspective on the prospect of American integration.

Please note: the film has no soundtrack and will be shown silent.
