Price shares the screen with fellow horror icon Christopher Lee for the first time and is reunited with Witchfinder General’s Hilary Dwyer in a feature take on the Edgar Allan Poe short story. A traumatic experience in Africa leaves 19th-century English aristocrat Alister Williamson disfigured and deranged; back home, his brother (Price) seeks to sequester him with a shady doctor (Lee)—leading to a body count and a reckoning between the two siblings.
