Driven insane by “Chief Inspector!” Clouseau, “former Chief Inspector!” Dreyfus (played to the hilt by Herbert Lom) commissions a doomsday device and holds the world to ransom—placing a bounty on Clouseau’s oblivious head. Possibly the funniest of the Panther films,  this globe-trotting comedy won a Writers Guild of America Award for Blake Edwards and Frank Waldman’s wild screenplay.
