The Voice of Hind Rajab, based on harrowing real events, recounts a series of emergency phone calls on January 29, 2024, in Gaza, when Palestine Red Crescent volunteers speak to a 5-year-old girl named Hind Rajab, trapped in a car under fire, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, the volunteers do everything they can to get an ambulance to her before it is too late. This narrative film, which uses the actual audio recordings of Hind speaking with emergency personnel, portrayed here by Palestinian actors with the film set entirely inside a call center, is executive produced by Brad Pitt, Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Jonathan Glazer, and Alfonso Cuarón. In Arabic with English subtitles.
