Delon’s third outing with the great Melville in the filmmaker’s final work, also known as Dirty Money. After nightclub owner Richard Crenna moonlights leading a outfit including Michael Conrad (later of Hill Street Blues) in a rain-lashed theft, police commissioner Delon intuits that their friendship is about to undergo a sea change—not least since Catherine Deneuve soon caught between them.
