One of Franco’s favorite leading ladies, Soledad Miranda (billed as Susann Korda) stars in the fourth of her eight collaborations with the indefatigable writer/director. Here Bram Stoker’s short story/offshoot “Dracula’s Guest” is transposed to ’70s Istanbul and turns Miranda loose as a Dracula heir (in more ways than one) haunting night visions of fellow Franco muse Ewa Strömberg, a lawyer who soon meets the woman of her dreams in the flesh.
