Initially intended as a live concert release, Who Can See Forever? evolved into a visual portrait capturing singer-songwriter Sam Beam during a creative outburst that earned him four Grammy nominations in four years. Like his music, the film touches on universally personal themes as Beam tackles managing his personal and professional life as an artist. The film is a fascinating first-time glimpse behind the scenes of Iron & Wine.

Through the course of seven albums, numerous EPs and singles, and the initial volumes of an Archive Series – Iron & Wine has captured the emotion and imagination of listeners with distinctly cinematic songs. Shot at the Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw, North Carolina, the soundtrack features nineteen songs recorded live.
