Part of the program

A passion project for producers Marcia Nasatir and Jim Carabatsos; the latter’s searing script about the 101st Airborne Division’s attempt to capture Hill 937 from North Vietnamese forces over ten days in May 1969 conveys the pulverizing—and polarizing—campaign at ground level. The cast included then-rising stars Michael Boatman, Don Cheadle, Dylan McDermott, Courtney B. Vance, and Steven Weber and features a mesmerizing Philip Glass score.
