Roeg goes cosmic with Terry Johnson’s play, crisscrossing Einstein, Monroe, DiMaggio, and Sen. McCarthy in a New York hotel room in 1954, as played by Michael Emil, Theresa Russell, Gary Busey, and Tony Curtis. Making light with the laws of the universe by way of a unified theory of fame and notoriety plus intimations of apocalypse—everything overlaps and it’s all relative.
