In 1945 Paris, the Oriental Palace brothel is about to be closed down. Prostitute Laetitia Casta dreams of a singing career and love while Petit Louis (Patrick Timsit), the brothel’s factotum who loves her but knows she will never be his, tries to make her dreams come true.
