FFFEST is a weekend-long screening and talk series celebrating the achievements of women filmmakers in cinema. The festival screens overlooked films and provides a platform and community for cinephiles and filmmakers to share resources and guidance. Launched in 2018, the festival was created by Passerbuys and Women & Film with hopes to inspire more women to make films. Join FFFEST this year at the NYC launch for rare films and discussions with filmmakers who’ve made impressive strides in cinema; including Laurie Simmons, Shirin Neshat, Desiree Akhavan, Erin Lee Carr, Dianna Agron and more.
